All Passive Services was established on October 14th, 2013, precisely because we saw a major industry gap. A real lack of deep knowledge and reliable help, with too many ‘cowboys’ doing shoddy work and leaving buildings unsafe after starting up and often disappearing again.
Our mission from day one was clear: provide truly professional passive fire solutions grounded in expertise, integrity, and reliability, helping clients meet the stringent requirements of the NCC/BCA and relevant Australian Standards.
The initial goal was to service the community correctly, especially within the Central Coast and Newcastle regions, where support was particularly lacking. Our reputation for meticulous, compliant work quickly grew. Soon, major Sydney hotels sought our expertise, leading to expansion.
Now, we handle complex passive fire projects across Sydney and greater NSW, often called upon to rectify incorrect or incomplete installations left by others. That’s a testament to our commitment to genuine, lasting compliance.

Managing Director | All Passive Services
James Taylor is the Managing Director of All Passive Services, a specialist passive fire protection company established in 2013. With more than 20 years of experience in the fire protection and construction industries, James brings extensive technical knowledge and leadership to the business.
Prior to founding All Passive Services, James held senior roles within the fire protection sector, including Manager at Bulkbeck Fire in Newcastle from 2009 to 2013. Before that, he worked as a Building Products Supervisor with Wormald across Newcastle and the Central Coast between 2006 and 2009. These roles provided a strong operational and compliance foundation, shaping his expertise in passive fire systems and construction integration.
James holds a Certificate III in Construction and has spent over two decades assessing passive fire systems and installations across commercial buildings, residential properties, hotels, healthcare facilities, and large-scale infrastructure projects. Throughout his career, he has delivered training and shared technical knowledge with staff and clients, contributing to improved fire safety standards and compliance outcomes.
Committed to continuous professional development and industry best practice, James holds current Fire Safety Assessor accreditation (FSA No. F023140A) across all passive fire measures, as well as a Diploma in Quality Auditing. His leadership continues to guide All Passive Services in delivering compliant, reliable, and technically sound passive fire protection solutions across NSW.

Usually, a thorough site assessment follows, where our experienced team identifies exactly what’s needed for compliance or fixing defects. We then provide a detailed, transparent quote explaining the scope and reasoning.
Once you give the green light, our accredited technicians get to work installing or fixing your passive fire systems. We strictly use certified systems and materials, following all Australian Standards and manufacturer specs. Our focus is quality work with minimal site disruption, aiming to prevent future issues.
Documentation is key! On completion, we provide comprehensive records of the work done, often including photos and compliance statements. This detailed proof is vital for your compliance history and supports your Annual Fire Safety Statement process.

Our main office and operations base is Unit 1/9 Blackett Street, West Gosford, NSW 2250. However, our skilled teams operate on-site across our key service areas.
